BlackBerry Evolve Price

Display and Design:

The Blackberry Evolve features the traditional block form factor that we are accustomed to with Blackberry smartphones. The bezels have been pushed further back to make the smartphone look more appealing. The solid plastic body of the Blackberry Evolve is coupled with an aluminum frame to enhance the build quality of the smartphone. The fingerprint scanner is located on the back of the smartphone, just below the dual camera setup.

The display on the Blackberry Evolve is a bright and lively 5.99-inch IPS display set at a FHD resolution. The color reproduction and sharpness of the display are excellent though the blacks on the display are not as dark as on an AMOLED display. Overall, the display is crisp and clear so you should have no concerns of eye strain when usiang the Blackberry Evolve for long periods of time.

Performance:

The Blackberry Evolve features the budget chipset from Qualcomm i.e. the Snapdragon 450. The smartphone is packed with an octa-core 1.8 GHz processor with the Adreno 506 GPU and 4 GB of RAM which means that it should be able to handle day-to-day tasks with multitasking easily without lag. 

Camera:

The camera setup on the Blackberry Evolve is impressive, especially for the budget price range. The smartphone comes with a dual 13 MP + 13 MP rear camera that has phase detection autofocus and a dual-LED flash for low light photographs as well. There is no optical image stabilization on board though but you cannot really complain for the price. As for the front camera, there is a 16 MP camera that is ideal for taking decent selfies and group selfies for posting on the social networks. Overall, the camera performs well with good colors and sharp picture quality, and it should be adequate for casual photography, particularly in good lighting. 

Battery and Connectivity:

Blackberry takes a page out of Xiaomi’s notebook with the battery since the 5.99-inch Blackberry Evolve features a massive 4000 mAh Lithium-ion battery. The battery should easily give you up to 36-40 hours (or 1.5 days) of moderate use easily with video playback, gameplay, web browsing, calls, and messaging. There is fast charging on board too which means that you can charge the Blackberry Evolve in quick time too.

As for connectivity, the Evolve comes with Bluetooth 4.2, FM Radio, and USB 2.0 Type-C connectivity but there is no NFC on board though.
