The Lowest price of Huawei P20 in Pakistan was Rs. 44,999.
Huawei revamps its camera-game with the Huawei P20 and follows suit to come up with its own unique edge-to-edge bezel-less design. The Huawei P20 is an eye-catching smartphone that performs adequately under heavy load and can produce brilliant images with its Leica optics camera.
The Huawei P20 is the 2018 reiteration of Huawei’s flagship P series. The P20 features a bezel-less edge-to-edge design with Huawei’s own Kirin chipset and a superb Leica optics camera. The Huawei P20 offers good value for money and holds its own against flagships such as the Samsung Galaxy S9 but at a much lower price than the latter.
The Huawei P20 comes with a IPS LCD 5.8-inch FHD display with an aspect ratio of 18.7:9 due to the bezel-less design. The display quality is high and the output is sharp with no signs of pixilation. The colors are impressive and the display offers excellent contrast to go with the high brightness.
The Huawei P20 comes with a pleasing design that is simply eye-catching. The bezel-less display on the front is combined with the home button and navigation keys on the front. The smartphone is built with an aluminum frame and a glass on both the front and back. Overall, the slim and lightweight design of the Huawei P20 is not just appealing but feels great in the hands as well.
The Huawei P20 comes with the Hisilicon Kirin 970 chipset, an octa-core processor, and the Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. The smartphone performs quite well but the Kirin 970 chipset generally lags behind the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 which is the standard for flagships in 2018. The benchmark scores for the Huawei P20 are 3487, 37659, and 207016 in Basemark OS II 2.0, Basemark X, and AnTuTu 6. Overall, the P20 should be able to handle day-to-day tasks and multitasking smoothly without any issues.
The camera setup on the Huawei P20 is a dual 12MP + 20MP monochrome camera on the back which features Leica optics, Master AI, laser autofocus, and lossless zoom. Overall, the image quality is quite good, the colors are accurate and the level of detail is impressive. The 20MP monochrome camera can take detailed black-and-white photos of a scene which come with great contrast and spectacular detail. The camera performs quite well under both daylight and lowlight but it is just below par with the camera on the Huawei P20 Pro which is inarguably the best camera on a smartphone right now. There is a 24MP front camera for selfies on the Huawei P20 but there is no autofocus and HDR mode. Though the colors and detail for the camera are quite high, it can be difficult to get the focus right with the front camera.
Huawei P20 features a 3400 mAh battery that has an endurance rating of 75 hours. With moderate use which includes web browsing and video playback, you should be able to get enough juice for 24 hours of use from the Huawei P20. There is fast charging support (SuperCharge) on the P20 which can take the smartphone from 0 to 65% in just 30 minutes! The fast charging is really impressive and comes in very handy for when you need the Huawei P20 charged for a day out.
In terms of connectivity, there is Bluetooth 4.2 (which is behind the standard Bluetooth 5.0), NFC, and a USB 3.1 Type-C connector but there is no 3.5mm audio jack which is now becoming a standard for flagship smartphones.
