The Lowest price of LG K9 in Pakistan was Rs. 94,499.
The LG K9, also known as the LG K8 (2018), is an entry-level smartphone that combines together all the basic elements of a smartphone to provide the low-budget audience with a powerful and low-budget choice.
LG has made use of a similar design form for most of the LG K series and the same applies to the LG K9. The smartphone features a minimalistic design with a weight of 152 grams and a thickness of just 8.2mm. The 5.0-inch S-IPS LCD display is on the front with the selfie camera and earpiece, while the single rear camera is located in the middle just above the fingerprint reader. The LG K9 is made up of a plastic body but the smartphone does not feel cheap in the hands. In fact, the build quality is solid and you can expect the LG K9 to be able to endure a few falls here and there.
The 5.0-inch display on the LG K9 is set at a HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The pixel density is almost around 300 pixels per inch and the display has its own unique characteristics. The pros of the display are its lively colors, good brightness levels, and high contrast. The cons are the small size of the display and low sharpness.
Unlike other smartphones from the LG K series, the LG K9 is packed with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset with a quad-core processor, Adreno 304 GPU, and 2 GB of RAM. The entry-level smartphone fares quite well in benchmarks and manages to score a hefty 21100 in AnTuTu 7. Overall, the LG K9 is able to handle basic apps such as web browsing, messaging, and video playback quite smoothly without signs of much lag.
The camera on the LG K9 has a standard configuration of 8 MP on the back and 5 MP on the front. The rear camera has phase detection autofocus, LED flash, HDR, and exposure compensation as features for helping with the image quality. There is nothing much to talk about the camera since it is a basic shooter that can take crisp and vivid photographs under ideal lighting conditions. More often than not though, the pictures are too soft and have a lot of noise.
There is a 2500 Lithium-ion battery on the LG K9 that has a fair endurance rating of around 65 hours. With moderate use including data connectivity, calls, and web browsing, you should be able to get through most part of your day on a single full charge. There is no fast charging on board but the small battery size means that you can charge the LG K9 to full in around 1 hour and 30 minutes. The plus side is that the battery is removeable and therefore you can always carry a spare or replace the battery when it ages out.
As for connectivity, the LG K9 has Bluetooth 4.2, FM Radio, USB OTG, and microUSB 2.0 which is standard for a budget smartphone.
