Motorola Moto E4 Details

Introduction:

Setting a standard is quite hard, it isn’t something you can do on the first try. You have to continue to strive for a continuous amount of time. Motorola has been both striving and grinding for a really long time and it seems to me they're finally starting to set their standard. I mean it's about time and all, but when you do set your standard, there is no going back and you have to keep on making innovations continuously. You can only start it with a masterpiece, or something which is totally different. The Lenovo-owned company has brought out the Moto E4.

Design and Display:

The E4, excluding the premium touch it brings to a low-end smartphone has a sleek and smooth design. It makes me really think about how much budget smartphones have evolved as a whole, not only have they become worth the money but they look really great too! The manufacturers make the cheap device, to look as if it isn't cheap if that makes any sense.

The device comes with an Aluminium body in the UK but in the US, the back of the device is actually plastic for some reason! This has had an uproar in the community due to people getting cheap plastic instead of a glamorous metal back.

Then the screen is a 5-Inch display of a resolution of 720 x 1280p. The screen is an IPS full LCD display with 16m colors to bring life to the dull and boring colors of today. The phone is really light to hold, weighing only at 151g. You won't even feel it when you're holding it. The right side occupies the power buttons and a volume rocker. The home button is present on the bottom-most section of the screen. The fingerprint sensor can be easily identified and used with no problems. The 3.5mm audio jack is present on the top of the device and the USB type-c charging port is present on to the bottom of the phone. The usual places for the usual ports.

Another thing is that the back of the phone can be removed and also, the battery is removable. This is something I haven't had in any of my recent smartphones and I love the Nostalgia vibe I'm getting from it.

The Device is available in around 3 colors. Iron Grey, Blush Gold, and Oxford Blue. My personal favorite is the Iron Grey, for some reason. I just can't seem to like any other color.

Performance:

The Motorola device runs a MediaTek chipset and Quad-core CPU. This chipset, I'm sure isn't the best which could've come out of the device. It can't do much, play a high-intensity game and stutters are going to be a must. The phone also might begin to heat up.

It comes with 2GB of Ram and 16GB of Internal storage which can be expandable to 128GB via MicroSD which has a dedicated slot in the phone. It truly is going to be enough for your day to day activities, but if mobile gaming is a thing for you, then I'd suggest looking for something different.

Camera:

The camera is alright for me, just satisfactory for a budget phone and all. 8mp for a rear camera nowadays is quite less. Motorola needs to get with the times in this regard, 8mp is actually just peanuts in regards to huge cameras of companies like Huawei and Oppo. Both of them create budget phones as well, but even though the camera might be inferior to them in terms of raw power, but it surely produces quality.

The 5mp selfie camera is something I can do with, me being not too selfie-centric and all. I can live without self-portraits for the rest of my life, and not use that camera. But if you're looking for a phone to take selfies with and all, this ain't the one for you.

Battery:

The Battery is just fine, 3200mAh is great if you want the phone to last a working day, and not worry too much. You're also getting Fast charging with the phone, which is something you probably can't live without. And Motorola thinking about the future, have got you covered.

The phone is definetely awesome and all but I'd rather spend a few extra bucks and get something better, like E5 or E4Plus, both of them are an upgrade from the device, and definitely my sort of calling.
