There are curved edges on the smartphone with thin bezels surrounding the display on the front and a camera setup on the back. The overall build quality of the smartphone is solid and it should be able to handle a few falls and bumps here and there.

With benchmark scores of 934 and 4983 in Basemark OS II 2.0 and Basemark X, the Nokia 3.1 is well placed as one of the leading performers in this price category.

Camera:

Nokia 3.1 features a 13 MP camera on the back with features such as HDR and autofocus, and a 8 MP camera on the front for selfies. The camera results are just adequate for the price tag, there is nothing too great and nothing too poor. The images come out with enough detail, vibrant colors, and pleasing contrast with good sharpness in adequate lighting conditions. If you love taking selfies or capturing scenes for posting on the social media regularly then the Nokia 3.1 should satisfy your requirements.

Battery life:

The battery on the Nokia 3.1 is a mediocre 2990 mAh non-removable battery that has a below average endurance rating of just 56 hours. If you are a power-user or love using data connectivity, then the Nokia 3.1 will not get you through the day on a single charge. Since there is no removable battery or fast charging on board too, the Nokia 3.1 is not a smartphone for individuals who are always on the go.
