Huawei Honor 7s Price

As Huawei keeps releasing products to please its users, it intends to release them over a wide price range, so anyone can buy a phone ranging from a budget phone to mid-range to a flagship. The Huawei Honor 7s is a phone which holds features one wouldn’t usually find in a phone in the same price range. It stands out as one of the most affordable phones, giving the most authentic user experience available.

Display and Design:

The Huawei Honor 7s features a 5.5-inch display with a 142g body which makes it as one of the lightest smartphones available. With a width of 8mm, it also stands as one of the thinnest smartphones. It has an approximate of 73-74% screen to body ratio. This offers better viewing experience.

This phone will seem similar to Huawei Y5 prime in performance, design, camera but when it comes to price, this one dips even lower. Plus, it has a bigger display than the Redmi 5A a better resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels.

Performance:

The Honor 7s features a Meditek MT6739 chipset. Considering he chipsets available in smart phones with slightly a budget above this one, the MT6739 is not reported to be as impressive and can cause performance issues when working the phone. It clocks up to 1.5Ghz which is still better than the snapdragon 425 which clocks up to 1.4Ghz.

The Honor 7s has a RAM of 2GB which means, although it can work most tasks without lag and is capable of multitask to some extent, it lags between usage at times and cannot run games beyond the 2017 mark as they require more RAM. Games such as Dead trigger 2 and PUBG mobile were tested for performance and PUBG was not able to render properly, let alone run smooth. If you are looking for a lot of multi-tasking, this phone is not for you so select wisely.

There’s this extra feature in this phone which adjust the voice on the receiver end according to the noise in the background of the sender’s end.

Camera:

The Honor 7s, considering how low budget it actually is, comes with a beautiful well-made 13MP camera which is more mega pixels than smartphone cameras have to offer in this range or more. Think of it like this, the Redmi Note 4X has a camera of 13MP and that phone excels Honor 7s in almost every aspect. Yet, we see the Honor 7s is actually able to make it to the marathon with just its brilliant camera.

The front camera is at a mere 5MP but how much more would you expect from a phone in such a budget, its low light photography is average at best. It can be said that a 13MP rear camera is a safe bet for any budget class android. The video quality is good and the phone is able to stand up to 1080p quality.

With features such as Geo-tagging, touch focus, HDR, what more can be asked from such a phone.

Battery and Connectivity:

The Honor 7s is powered by a 3000mah battery which is not as much as the user usually demands in this day and age of frequent smartphone use but still, it will last a long time for the average user.

Additional features include Bluetooth, radio, GPS, Accelerometer, a compass and most importantly, a 3.5mm jack.

Verdict:

According to the writer of this review, this phone is not that bad considering all the aspects and can be called as a basic representation of good smartphones in this era. Though, it lacks quite some important features from it such as more RAM and battery power, it is still understandable because this is Huawei’s cheapest smartphone yet.

It would make for a good low budget phone but not any more than that, except maybe the camera.
