The Lowest price of Huawei Y9 in Pakistan was Rs. 27,500.
The Huawei Y9 is a great phone targetted at the low mid-range market. But the price you pay gives you more value than you can imagine. To make things simple, let's just say that it has a very large display and a larger battery to make sure you never run out of juice. If you can compromise on the camera of the phone, then this is one good phone to get in 2018.
The Huawei Y9 was unveiled in March 2018 and was slated to be a low-mid range phone. And as it is so, when it was released, it was indeed in the low-mid price range with a very competitive price in Pakistan. The Huawei Y9 is essentially a successor of the Huawei Y7 Prime which was launched last year in July.
The new variant has a larger screen, a smaller body and better overall performance than its predecessor. It is essentially a great upgrade for 2018 if you are in for the low-mid range phone. Let's have a detailed analysis of whats on board the Huawei Y9 and if it is worth buying or not.
The Huawei Y9 is a classing unibody phone enclosed in a metal body with tempered glass to cover the screen. The design of the phone is aimed at the corporate market which means that if you are a university going student and love sleek and sexy phones, you may be slightly disappointed.
But if you are in for a phone that gives a sophisticated look that doesn't attract unnecessary attention, then the design of this phone will really please you.
The Huawei Y9 has a surprisingly good display with a large resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The large 5.93 inches LCD panel mostly performs very good and offers a bright look wherever you are. The screen also works great in direct sunlight which is surprising for a phone in the budget category.
Perhaps the biggest disappointment is that the screen is unable to manage black color very well. Most black colors on the screen appear grey and when watching media, leaves a little bit more to be desired.
Nonetheless, it is still a huge improvement over its predecessor.
The dual setup camera's of Huawei Y9 look great from the outside but can leave you wanting more when you actually start taking photos. This is not surprising because the phone is very competitively priced.
Thus the cameras perform great in good light and have all the necessary modern features like Face detect AI and more.
The only problem it seems is the same problem with just about any phone in this category is that it takes grainy photos in low light situations.
The Huawei Y9 has an impressive 4000mAH battery which is necessary to power its higher resolution screen. The good news is that the battery is large enough to have you go through the day without much trouble even if you are a heavy user.
Another good thing about the battery is that it comes with native fast charging support.
Inside the phone is a HiSilicon KIRIN 659 processors with 8 cores partnered with 3GB of RAM and this is excellent news because the performance of the phone is much better than phones having a Snapdragon processor in the same price category.
Since RAM is essential for heavy usage, the 3GB RAM is good enough for you to have a smooth operation even if you multi-task. As for gamers, the phone is a bit of a disappointment but it is again not surprising given the phone price range. You should still be able to play some 3D games but don't expect to get the full performance on 2018 3D games.
The Huawei Y9 is a great phone targetted at the low mid-range market. But the price you pay gives you more value than you can imagine. To make things simple, let's just say that it has a very large display and a larger battery to make sure you never run out of juice.
