The iPhone 11 Pro Max is by far Apple’s best iPhone to date. However, we keep repeating that statement everywhere. The real question is if the iPhone 11 Pro Max is if this phone still holds for the price of Rs. 148,999. The short answer is yes, and the longer answer is still a resounding yes, with a couple of things to consider.
Even according to the prices, the iPhone 11 Pro Max retains its crown as the most recognizable phone out there. Well, that’s easy to see because of just the logo. However, the Midnight Green color paired with the triple camera layout on the back is already an iconic look. A lot of people are fans of the iPhone in this color.
The rear of the iPhone is precision milled from a single sheet of glass. This has a matte-like finish to it. It feels much nicer in the hand, especially compared to the XS Max. Speaking of which, it doesn’t slide around that much either, unlike its predecessor. We still have the same lightning connector at the bottom.
Furthermore, the cameras, the display, the battery life, and the iOS experience still make this a great competitor to all the flagships.
The display on the iPhone 11 Pro Max still holds. Sure, the lack of a high-refresh screen might bother some people. It still feels smooth thanks to the fast touch response. Apple’s infamous notch returns once again, but we’ve just grown to stop acknowledging it by now.
With 800 nits of typical brightness, sharp OLED image quality, and a 2688 x 1242 resolution, this screen is phenomenal. Apple calls it the Super Retina Display XDR. Thanks to the 1200 nits peak brightness with HDR content, we feel like it earns its name. It is pure eye candy.
Let’s face it, few companies have better performing phones than the iPhone. Even in 2020, and prices for the 11 Pro Max into account, we still feel content with the performance here. The A13 Bionic cheap is a beast, that’s for sure. It crushes both single-threaded and multi-threaded tasks.
For the current price of Rs. 148,999, you’d expect high-end performance. Fortunately, makes zero compromises here.
Versatile is the word that immediately comes to mind when we talk about the 11 Pro Max cameras. It has three cameras on the back, all of which use a 12MP sensor. The standard camera is the best, as it shows the most detailed and accurate photos. It has an F1.8 aperture, and handle. Portrait mode is still excellent.
The telephoto 2X zoom is a joy to use as well. While it’s not as crazy as Samsung’s or Huawei’s optical zoom cameras, it is still more than serviceable. Sure you lose a bit of detail, but you’ll appreciate it whenever you need it.
We can say the same for the Ultrawide. While it’s not as crisp as the standard camera, it is incredibly useful at times. When you need to add more context to your photos, the trusty Ultrawide Sensor is always by your side.
The iPhone 11 Pro Max is also the best phone for shooting video. Optical image stabilizaiton, quick focus, and HDR all work incredibly well here. Did we mention you can shoot in 4K at 60fps? The camera system alone almost justifies the cost according to prices.
Oh, and the front video camera has a 12MP sensor as well. You can shoot slow-mo videos on it now as well. Apple calls them “Slo-Fies”. Surprisingly, the term quickly caught on.
Thanks to the new A13 Bionic chip, battery life is even better than the iPhone XS Max. The battery capacity is around the 4000mAh mark if you care about numbers. As we were saying, thanks to the new processor, the iPhone 11 Pro max can last the whole day and then some. We’re looking at upwards of 11 hours of battery life. Impressive stuff.
Phones have definitely gotten cheaper in the past few years. However, while Android is still king in terms of customization, a lot of people prefer iOS. That’s mostly due to the seamless integration with other Apple products. Add in security features along with great animations, and we have a near-perfect experience.
With iOS 14, you can finally add widgets to the home screen. You can even customize the icons with certain apps. Apart from that, iOS now supports third-party controllers. You can hook up your Xbox one controller and enjoy your favorite mobile games.
iOS is a big reason as to why people love iPhones. The iPhone 11 Pro Max proves its worth in this way.
The iPhone 11 Pro Max is all around a phenomenal phome, for the lack of a better term. Great display, incredibly versatile cameras, long-lasting battery life, and continuous software updates make this a great phone to buy in 2020. You might be hesitant due to the prices, but we can assure you this is a great phone to buy. Unless, of course, you want to wait for the upgrade.
