Metro Bikes History in Pakistan :

Metro Motorcycles is perhaps the first big motorcycle company to be established in Pakistan. The company was founded in 1973. At first, they referred to themselves as Metro Fans and manufactured a variety of things such as pedestal fans, ceiling fans, and bracket fans among other home appliances like air conditioners and such.

The company then made motorcycles their focus, finding themselves in the top five bike manufacturers in the country. The bikes that can be seen dominating the roads of Pakistan are particularly the MR 70, TEZ RAFTAR 70, MR 100, and MR 125.

The Demand for Metro Bikes in Pakistan:

Most local bike manufacturing companies go bust as soon as they make their way into the market but the same is not the case with Metro bikes. This one brand has managed to climb up the ranks and become one of the most sought-after companies in the whole, entire country. It would be less than unlikely for one to not see a Metro bike on the road if they were to ever wander around Pakistan. Needless to say, the bikes are in pretty high demand all across the country.

Best Models of Metro Bikes:

MR 100: The Metro MR 100 is arguably the best Metro bike there is on the market. It had an OHV 4-stroke cylinder engine with a spectacular net power of 4.2 kW/r/min. Not just that, the CDI ignition method with the Kick start bike starting system.

The bike has quite a pragmatic build to it as it has a kerb weight of only 85 kilograms and a fuel tank of 8.5 liters.  Needless to say, the bike is great when it comes to more casual use as it's neither a speed devil nor a slow-poke, it maintains a good balance between the two archetypes.

MR 125: The MR 125 is a bike of elegant design. The bike not only looks great but it functions great as well with its impressive speedometer and beautiful tail light. Its slick design may make it look somewhat delicate but trust us, delicate it is not. It’s the type of bike that will stick by you through the rains and storms.

The MR 125 has a single-cylinder, four-stroke, double-valve air-cooled with SOHC. It's pretty powerful, to say the least. Powerful enough to get the rider through rocky and bumpy roads without breaking that much of a sweat. Not only that, along with its strength, its stamina which is to say its fuel mileage efficiency is another one of its awesome traits.

The Metro company of Motorcycles is relatively cheap as it is with the cheapest models of their bikes being the following:
