HP Pavilion is a gaming, 15-inch model and comes with a 17-inch display. It is powered by intel core i5 10300H with an 8 MB L3 cache and 4 cores. It has an anti-glare, micro-edge, WLED-backlit, 250 nits with a screen resolution of 1920x1080, and a 250 gig NVME SSD. it’s definitely not bad for entry-level to mid-range gaming laptops. The HP logo on the top is in acid-green color with a black body and a green keyboard. It can clearly be seen that is more inspired and influenced by the HP omen design ranges in terms of hinge design, the bevel cuts on the corner. It has a plastic chassis, which is expected in this price range. It competes with Lenovo legion entry and the dell g7 and g5 models. It is relatively lightweight, under 5 pounds. It has a single color lit keyboard with a Microsoft precision tracker. The speakers however are not very loud and one would probably go for headphones to get that full audio experience. The colors however are not as vibrant as should be and are on a little bit of the muted side. It has a little better control over heat radiation than we see on a lot of today’s gaming laptops with six-core CPUs. The fans are always on but the noise is not that bad, it is a BIOS setting that can be changed. The only concerning thing is that it has a pretty small battery, which means the battery life won’t be great. So where HP reduced the weight and added a hard drive there was a tradeoff between the battery life.

It has a very vibrant and bright display with good contrast. It means you can easily use it outdoors as well. It has an all-metal body, with a very classy finish. it has gem cut corners that add a nice flare and has golden cut trims The display is all glass making it even more premium. It has a Windows Hello sign-in option and a fingerprint configuration as well. The ports are excellent for a thin device that is also lightweight. It has a power plug, two USB (TYPE-C) with thunderbolt 3 enabled, a micro SD card slot, a webcam privacy button and it also has a full USB 3.1 (Type-A). The keyboard on this has deep travel, very nicely spaced keys with backlighting. The only issue is that the up & down keys are not equally sized which can be troublesome if you are a new user. The performance however is rock-solid for the price and the size of the Ultrabook.

This is a beast laptop and in a world where everyone is always talking about portability, thin and light max-q throttling this is all but that. It has a fat RCX graphics card a huge 17-inch display. This omen laptop, however, is 22 percent thinner than its predecessors and 15 percent lighter than before. It has a matte, full HD IPS 144 hertz, and a Gsync display. Which isn’t something you see very often on gaming laptops. It helps reduce screen tearing and also just smooths out your FPS at a lower frame rate. It has a good amount of cooling vents that will keep your PC cooled down while heavy gaming. It has 3 USB 3.1 (Type-A) ports, a thunderbolt 3, a mini display port, HDMI 2.0, gigabit Ethernet, and an SD card reader. It uses a 115w 2070 and a 150 w 2080 graphics card which will get you a lot more performance. It can be configured with a 1080p 60 HZ or 240 HZ panel or even a 4K IPS. it has an sRGB of 100 percent and only a 30ms response time. The side bezels are slimmer on the sides and fairly thicker on the top. The screen however flexes since the hinges are positioned centrally. it has an Aluminium built and copes well under bright light. The best thing about this laptop is its keyboard it has excellent backlighting, it has 6 macro keys separately placed on the left and equally spaced keys overall. There’s just a little bit of flex on the deck but nothing too major especially for the price that it comes in.
