Samsung just very recently released their flagship phones the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+. Although the new phones are strikingly similar to the Galaxy S8 series in looks, the phones still offer major improvements within the hood.
However, it seems like upgrading just the internal specifications of the phone has not been a good move on part of Samsung since very few people in Pakistan are finding it necessary to upgrade from an S8 to S9. The only worthy option of upgrading has been the Galaxy S9+ which offers a huge 6.2-inch display with dual cameras and extended RAM.
In hopes of people upgrading to the new S9 flagship series, Samsung is apparently planning to release a ‘Mini’ version of the Galaxy S9 series. This new flagship phone will be smaller in size but will come with a dual camera setup.
Official leaks suggesting Mini Galaxy S9
A well-known tech blog recently acquired leak photos of the supposedly new Samsung Galaxy S9 mini which is currently labeled as ‘SM-G8850. According to the blog, the new phone will come pre-equipped with a Snapdragon 845 processor and variable aperture dual cameras.
From the looks of it, Samsung is trying to fill the dual camera gap which it missed on the original Samsung Galaxy S9. The phone will hence be an ideal upgrade who wanted dual camera setup but were forced to buy the Samsung Galaxy S9+ which has a huge screen and sometimes not appealing to many users.
However, it must be noted down that these are just speculations for the time being. Another post on the leak photos suggests that Samsung could just be planning to release a new version of the Galaxy A series.
Whether or not it is a Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini, the design and specifications are pointing towards a very good new phone from the manufacturer.
Samsung Galaxy S9 mini availability in Pakistan
According to the leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S9 mini could very well be a Chinese exclusive phone. However, if it is indeed an A8, then it may be released worldwide. You won’t have to wait too long to see the official release.
