The Lowest price of LG Q6 in Pakistan was Rs. 12,999.
LG has always been known for releasing some quite state of the art type phones. The very concept of a fingerprint scanner at the back of the phone was one LG adapted to and works with. Now, LG has brought forth a phone which can be regarded as a mid-budget phone but its specifications scream flagship.
Here comes a phone in a nice screen size with an impressive rear camera and the most important part people look for in smartphones; an enormous amount of RAM. Though the phone comes with some quite astonishing drawbacks too. It almost makes one wonder if the price really is worth the investment but then you look at the plus side and realize that maybe it makes up.
The LG Q6 comes packed in a 5.5" screen with an aluminum frame and a plastic body. One might argue that a plastic body might not give the phone its premium feeling to the hand but it can be countered with the fact that the frame is aluminum so more durability.
The phone offers multi-touch and comes protected with a corning gorilla glass 3. The resolution size is nice and offers streaming in good quality without compromising pixels. Apart from the frame and body, the phone offers a front glass in its design, so more durability. This means you can drop from a low level all you want.
The chipset of this phone features our very own favorite type; snapdragon but alas what you might read ahead may cause you to reconsider buying this phone. It features snapdragon 435 which, honestly, is not impressive. In fact, this can be considered as an aging and obsolete chipset. I can't fathom the fact that they would make a phone this impressive, but include something as bad as 435 as its processor.
The android version is at Nougat, can go up to Oreo and above. There is another plus point here though; the dedicated microSD slot. This means that it can hold your extra SIM and extra storage needs in one go. The RAM on this phone is 3GB in the Q6 and that is a good amount of RAM, considering the chipset they've built this on. This means that it will be able to handle mid end gaming with slight drop in frames and slight lag. (Testing on low for pubg mobile and high on dead trigger 2)\
Coming to you photography fans, the rear camera on this phone is good as it features 13MP of epic photography along with panorama. The video making runs at about 1080p at 30fps which means good quality video for all your special events.
Looking at the front camera, it offers a mere 5MP for you so I would not suggest buying this phone if selfie is your strong point and favored form of photography.
The phone is powered by a 3000mah battery which is not as much as you could find in some phones in the same if not less budget but it still works well for your everyday usage, even if it is a bit excessive.
Additional features include Bluetooth, GPS, and Radio along with a 3.5mm audio jack.
In my opinion, this phone does have some mouthwatering features but it lacks in chipset and the front camera so if you are looking for a phone with capabilities like the snapdragon 600 series, then don't go for this phone. Otherwise, if all you want is a smartphone that can do your day to day task, then its surely an option to consider.
