You can now buy Telenor sims and pay bills using their self-servicing booths in Pakistan

One of Pakistan’s largest cellular company has just launched automated self-service machines across the country to help customers buy and pay bills without worrying about visiting franchises.

These new automated machines are 24/7 self-service units that look a lot like ATM machines but offer several services related to the cellular company.

You will now be able to buy a new Telenor Sim, replace an existing SIM, open Telenor EasyPaisa accounts, send and receive money through EasyPaisa, pay bills, recharge your phone credit and more just by using the self-servicing machine.

The best bit about these little self-service machines is that they are open 24/7 just like an ATM machine, allowing you to avail the above-mentioned services at any time of the day, month or year.

The self-servicing machines are an excellent addition to the cellular network because, in many cities of Pakistan, these services are only offered through official Telenor franchises. The biggest problem was that these franchises typically open 9 AM in the morning and operate till 5 PM daily. The franchises are also closed on Sundays and public holidays.

These technologically advanced machines have officially been launched in many major cities of Pakistan including Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Islamabad, Faisalabad, and Gujranwala. The company now aims to bring these machines to other cities of Pakistan.

Telenor isn’t the only cellular company to introduce these self-service machines. Previously UFone had also launched a similar self-servicing machine that collects money and gives you new SIMs or renews them.

The trend is definitely picking up in Pakistan where many people have now learned how to use ATM machines. With these new self-servicing machines, everything about availing company facilities will be much easier than before.
