Uber brings it bike hailing service UberMoto to Karachi

You can now hitch a ride on a motorcycle using the Uber app in Karachi

Ride-hailing services have become so popular in Pakistan that they have become an important part of our lives. The two giants of ride-hailing companies in Pakistan, Uber, and Careem are increasingly bringing new ways for people to travel across the city with comfort and affordability in mind.

Following the footsteps of Careem, Uber recently launched their bike hailing service UberMoto in Lahore. After finding quite a bit of success in the walled city of Lahore, the service has now been launched in Karachi.

One of the most attractive points of the service is its affordable rates. You can travel far away inside the city and have to pay very little for your entire journey. Plus bikes can easily go through traffic making it easier for you to commute to a city that is otherwise always busy.

For the time being, UberMoto is charging RS. 13 per kilometer while the base fare is RS. 26.6. In comparison, Careem charges RS. 50 base price for 6 kilometers.

Considering the price difference between the two ride-hailing companies, would you still use UberMoto for commuting in Karachi?

For those of you who are completely unfamiliar with ride-hailing services, you can try using it today by downloading the app on your Android or iPhone smartphone.

The Uber application supports just about any modern but runs best on these smartphones.
