A state of the art innovation lab has been launched by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) in Peshawar titled ‘Durshal Innovation Lab’.
The lab is equipped with all kinds of facilities that will enable it to become a technology hub where young entrepreneurs, startups, and businesses can come and flourish.
The Durshal Innovation Labs have already been opened in several cities of KPK including Mardan, Swat and now Peshawar. The basic idea behind the lab is to provide enough opportunities for young entrepreneurs to find technological solutions to Pakistan’s problems. These include services for the government and designing systems that can improve life for the better.
The word Durshal means ‘Door’ in Pushto and this lab is exactly that it names suggests, its a doorway to a new technologically advanced Pakistan.
One of the other salient features of the Durshal Innovation Lab is that it offers a beautiful atmosphere with bright colors that keep the youth fresh and engaged in the activity.
Labs like these will without any doubt help a lot of young brains in KPK who want to develop the right technologies for Pakistan but are seriously lacking in advanced knowledge and techniques. The lab will time to time be visited by expert and senior businessmen who will not only motivate the youth but will also help them refine their ideas and put them out on the market.
With Durshal Innovation Labs in three major cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the board is already in works to expand the initiative to other cities.
